Improve Digital hires more than 60 new employees and moves to new Headquarters in Amsterdam
Over the last few months, Improve Digital has hired more than 60 full-time employees. Now, the company and its over 200 employees are moving headquarters to a new location in Amsterdam. Triple the size of the company’s current location, the new office is a two-floor loft located in a new building in the creative and popular Houthavens area, with a rooftop view overlooking the harbour. Neighbours include WPP agency Grey, Dentsu Aegis Network and leading global apparel company PVH Europe (Tommy Hilfiger, etc.).
CIO and Co-founder Janneke Niessen says: “This move represents the solid growth we are experiencing. Our new offices should offer our employees an inspiring environment in which to provide the best service and help our clients achieve their ambitions. We will continue recruiting more team members for all departments. People join Improve Digital for its culture, its momentum and the ability they have to make a difference – but being able to work in an office like this certainly adds to the fun.”
In addition, the benefits awaiting employees at Improve Digital’s new premises go far beyond more working space. The offices are a cut above the industry standard with plenty of extras such as a spa room set to offer employees regular treatments like massages, manicures and a hairdresser, as well as an oxygen bar and a VR meditation area. The new headquarters will also be equipped with sleeping pods, multiple coffee corners, lunch spaces and a chef. Other perks include a regular roster of singer-songwriters to entertain employees at the company’s weekly Friday happy hour.
Xander Lindhout, SVP People Operations at Improve Digital, says: “Offering these benefits to our employees is very important to us as we want to make sure that our company’s exponential growth doesn’t mean that we lose sight of the well-being of the individual. We can see every single day how happy people provide better service, perform better, and are more creative, innovative and energetic.”
